From the kitchen to the studio, creativity is the key.
After being a Chef for over 10 years, I've some what put my knives to rest. A few years back i transitioned into a "Food Stylist." I'm sure you're asking what that actually is, or is that even a real job? YES! It is a real job. I make the food you see on commercials, billboards, editorials,TV,film and live events look like you could eat your TV or magazine you are flipping through.
I started a food blog (www.skinnyxchef.com) about two years ago. I frequently dine out, and figured I needed to share with the world my every meal. I one day got a comment on why I was writing about such extravagant, expensive food with iPhone pictures. This is where photography all began for me. I got a camera and brought it to every restaurant I ate at.
Next thing you know, I was snapping landscapes, cities, animals and abstract.
While working on TV & film sets, photographing people blossomed. I am extremely grateful for the sequence of events in my life that have brought me to where I am at now.
Lets be creative together.
